The West Coast Pie Co, have taken this kiwi classic, doused it in a locally made dark ale and placed a big slice of Mainland cheese right through the middle to produce a primo venison and cheese pie. Just like the original venison pies, these are full of wild venison in a rich flavoursome stew, made with fresh herbs and vegetables.

Every one of the stew batches contains 70% meat flesh, the pies are filled to the brim, making them on average twice the size of a standard meat pie.

Consume within five days or freeze.

For best results heat in an oven at 160° -180° for 10-15 minutes. If heating from frozen, defrost fully at room temperature before heating. We don't recommend heating pies in a microwave, unless you like a soggy pie!
